
Dan Moor is a Principal on Craft’s investment team, where he brings a unique blend of operating and investing experience to help early-stage founders scale with speed. Before transitioning to the investment team, Dan served in a COO-like capacity for several Craft portfolio companies as an Operator in Residence. In this role, he was fully embedded within portfolio companies—supporting Founders build their businesses, tackle their biggest challenges and execute meaningful transformations. Dan’s operating expertise is in go-to-market strategy, strategic finance, operations, capital allocation decisions and fundraising. Dan has hands-on experience operating across the full company lifecycle, including being the third fulltime team member at early-stage startups like Veratrak and Omnipresent, helping scale breakout growth-stage businesses such as ClickUp, Horizon3, and AgentSync, and supporting more mature tech businesses, like Softchoice.
Prior to Craft, Dan was a consultant at Bain & Company, where he focused on due diligence, corporate strategy, and operating model design. Dan began his career at Birch Hill Equity Partners, a leading mid-market private equity firm in Canada.
Dan holds a Bachelor of Commerce and Bachelor of Arts from Queen’s University and an MBA from the University of Oxford. Before his career in tech and investing, Dan was a professional and Canadian national team rugby player - a transformational experience for Dan in leadership, work ethic and teamwork. During his playing career, Dan captained a professional club for two seasons.
