Dan is Craft’s Operator in Residence. In his role, Dan supports Craft portfolio companies to build strategic plans and execute various value-creation initiatives. Prior to joining Craft, Dan worked as a management consultant at Bain & Company, where he was primarily focused on private equity due diligence, strategy projects, and operating model redesigns. Dan has prior operating experience within Craft portfolio company ClickUp as a member of their revenue strategy team, and as an early team member at startups Omnipresent and Veratrak.  Dan started his career at Birch Hill Equity Partners, a leading mid-market private equity firm in Canada.

Dan earned a Bachelor of Commerce and Bachelor of Arts at Queen’s University and an MBA at the University of Oxford. Previously, Dan was a professional and Canadian national team rugby player. During his rugby career, he captained a professional club for two seasons.
