Zao is an Investor on the investment team, focusing on Craft’s growth fund and based in Toronto. Prior to joining Craft, Zao was an Investor at Georgian where he focused on growth equity investments in B2B software, with a particular interest in the data and infrastructure space. Zao was involved in supporting several Georgian portfolio companies on finance & operations, working closely with executive teams to lead financial forecasting, capital raise processes and other strategic initiatives.
Zao began his career at Bank of America Merrill Lynch in the M&A group. He graduated from the University of Waterloo with a Bachelor of Science in Biotechnology and was a member of varsity swimming.
